Ashfield Healthcare has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Nurse Manager to work directly for Fresenius Kabi. This global healthcare company specialises in life saving medicines and technologies for infusion, transfusion and clinical nutrition. The Regional Nurse Manager will be responsible for a team of 12 field based Home IV Therapy Nurses across Berkshire and Hampshire, and will report directly to the Clinical Business Manager for the South West Directorate.

  • Registered Nursing qualification/s
  • ENB 998 or equivalent
  • Previous management experience with recognised management qualification.
  • Minimum of 5 years post registration with at least 2 at management level.
  • Ensuring a consistently high standard of nursing service that meets the needs of the business, customers and patients with a view of following the business strategy. 
  • Ensure the team is compliant with all recognised and relevant standards, internally and externally, to ensure patient safety and in order to comply with legislation as defined by government and statutory bodies.
  • Direct and support a team of field based nurse advisors to ensure that an effective, motivated and appropriately skilled professional team is maintained, and a culture of continuous improvement is developed in order to optimise individual and team performance.
  • Take part in recruitment activities.
  • Work cross-functionally with sales and business development to promote the nursing service in order to achieve increased sales, maintain loyalty and increase brand awareness.
  • Work cross functionally with other Fresenius Kabi operational teams in order to deliver a full homecare service and work with the clinical business manager to resolve complaints and incidents enabling a rapid response to the customer and resolution of the issue. 
  • Work at all times within the NMC code of conduct and professional practice to ensure registration is maintained and safe practice is delivered.
  • Deputise for the Clinical Business Manager and cover for other RNMs in order to cover annual leave and absence.
