Ashfield Healthcare is excited to be working with L’Oreal to recruit a Dermatology Account Manager to promote their La Roche-Posay brand. For over 40 years, La Roche-Posay has worked with dermatologists throughout the world to invent skincare and make-up products that meet their needs and requirements. La Roche-Posay products are dermatologist tested on atopic or reactive skin allergies. Results are shown in clinical tests and trials.

Since its founding in 1995, the Foundation La Roche-Posay has awarded more than 100 fellowships for dermatology research on four continents. The brand is also engaged, in partnership with dermatologists, in several awareness campaigns on the prevention of skin cancer.


Key Responsibilities:

• To increase sales through prescriptions and referrals by providing quality detailing and education on key La Roche-Posay product ranges to appropriate health care professionals.

• Identification and development of key opinion leaders to recommend key products.

• Effective territory management to include management of key customers, the business and return on investment.

• Product training for key customers.

• Anticipate competitor activity and propose and implement action plan. 

• Organise local meetings and local PR activities to grow or maintain the business.


Essential Skills:

• A proven track record in education and business development.

• At least two years previous field representative experience in a relationship focused medical environment.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong personal and credible relationships and communicate effectively at all levels.

• Highly organised and effective time manager.

• In-depth knowledge of dermatology.

• In-depth knowledge of product, market and competition.

• Ability to apply clinical data to increase prescriptions, recommendations and sales.
